The Ettore Pozzoli Musical Cultural Association, with its Philharmonic Orchestra and its many chamber ensembles, was born in 2007 with the purpose of establishing a musical cultural reference centre striving for the promotion of high-quality music.
The Pozzoli Association is a prestigious locally-rooted reality that creates a high-level cultural offer with the joint support of foundations, private companies and municipal administrations; an activity that won the Association the 2019 “Beato Talamoni” Prize from the provinces of Monza and Brianza, for being an excellent artistic reality able to represent its territory beyond the province’s boundaries.
With its symphonic orchestra, the Association approaches people with high-quality events, thanks to a well-established concert season programming. Among its primary and fundamental aims, the Pozzoli Association acknowledges its role as an educational reference, focusing on its work with young artists both for its informative intent and for their professional growth.
The Pozzoli Association provides young people with original soundly-structured educational programmes so that these can be the opportunity for an encounter with music, to discover one’s thrill in front of a work of art. The orchestra is a growth instrument and laboratory for young and promising musicians, who can build their fund of knowledge through the collaboration with established conductors, solo musicians and professionals with whom they cover varied repertoires.
Over the years, the Pozzoli Association paid homage to Maestro Ettore Pozzoli – pianist, composer and extraordinary teacher from Seregno – with its work and dedication, trying to cherish the Maestro’s valuable teaching of promoting the noble art of music for the benefit of young people.
